Friedrich von Keppel (* in the 16th century; † November 1566 ) was canon in Münster .
Life
Origin and family
Friedrich von Keppel was the son of Hermann von Keppel zu Nienborg and his wife Elisabeth von Galen zu Ermelinghof . He had three siblings: Dietrich (Rittmeister zu Steinfurt), Gerd and Jakob. The family donated the late medieval Leprosehause in Nienborg and was most likely since the foundation of the episcopal country castle Nienborg in 1198 by Prince Bishop Hermann II. Act
For a cash severance Friedrich came into the possession of the 15 July 1541 Dompräbende to which the canon Johann von der Leyen avoided had. Until his death he exercised the office of canon. The sources do not provide any information about his work.
