Friedrich von Rhede

Friedrich von Rhede (* around 1520 ; † in the 16th or 17th century) was a canon in Münster .

Life

Friedrich von Rhede came from the Emsland family von Rhede zu Brandlecht , who owned the fiefdom of Brandlecht Castle from the 2nd half of the 15th century until 1715 . He was the son of Adrian von Rhede zu Brandlecht (Privy Councilor of the Bishop of Utrecht) and his wife Lucia von Goor. They married on September 23, 1516. On July 23, 1539 Friedrich received a cathedral praise from Münster . After the death of Canon Johann Morrien , he received the right to present. It remained in the possession of the benefice until 1545. Friedrich was a canon at the collegiate monastery St. Lebuin in Deventer. His brother Heinrich was canon in Münster from 1554 to 1572.
