Fritz-Heiner Hepke

Fritz-Heiner Hepke (born November 23, 1947 in Achim , Verden district) is a German politician ( SPD ). From 1998 to 2003 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament.

Hepke attended primary school in Uphusen and then secondary school in Achim. After completing secondary school in 1964, he attended the administrative school in Bremen until 1969, which he finished with the second administrative examination. This was followed by military service and then he began to work in the organizational department of the Senate Commission for Human Resources in Bremen. He worked there until his election to the state parliament.

Hepke became a member of the SPD in 1971. From 1979 to 1998 he was chairman of the SPD sub-district Verden. From 1972 to 1991, and then again from 1996, he was on the city council of Achim. He was also in the district council of Verden. In the 1998 state elections, Hepke was elected to the Lower Saxony state parliament through a direct mandate in constituency 54 Achim, to which he belonged for an electoral term until 2003.
