Fritz Doht
Fritz Doht ; actually Friedrich Doht (born January 25, 1891 in Bielefeld , † December 28, 1960 ibid) was a German headmaster and social democratic politician .
Life
Doht learned the trade of clerk and then attended a teachers' seminar . Between 1913 and 1918 he was a substitute elementary school teacher, interrupted by his participation in the First World War . Between 1918 and 1923 he was a regular elementary school teacher and then he was rector of a school in Bielefeld.
In 1918 he joined the SPD. Between 1919 and 1933 Doht was a city councilor in Bielefeld. Between 1924 and 1932 he was a member of the Prussian state parliament .
At the beginning of the Nazi era , Doht was dismissed as rector. After the end of the Second World War , Doht was provisional school councilor for the districts of Minden I and II and rector of the Stiftschule in Schildesche . Since August 1946 he was a regular school councilor in the Minden II district. Between 1953 and 1956 he was a school councilor and councilor for the district government in Detmold . He then headed the private secondary school in Varenholz Castle until his death .
