Höffler belonged to the FV Kaiserslautern , for which he played point games in the championships organized by the Association of South German Football Associations in the 1911/12 and 1912/13 seasons as a striker in the western district , one of four districts as the regional highest division. In the playoff for the Westkreis championship, the round-robin tournament with eight teams was finished tied with the Phoenix Mannheim , his team lost 2-0 to the team from Mannheim after the return leg on March 17 and 25, 1912; in the following season, his team finished fifth.
Selection team
As a member of the team of the Association of South German Football Associations, he took part in the competition for the Crown Prince's Cup. After bye and victory in the quarter and semi-finals , his team reached the final.
