Fritz Nicklisch

Fritz Nicklisch (* 1936 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German law scholar and former university professor.

Life

After graduating from high school, Nicklisch began studying law at the University of Frankfurt am Main in 1956 , which he completed in 1960 with the first state examination in law. He then worked as a research assistant in Frankfurt before receiving his doctorate in 1964 with Gerhard Schiedermair. iur. completed. After his second state examination in 1965, Nicklisch worked as a research assistant to Schiedermair in Frankfurt. In 1970 Nicklisch completed in Frankfurt after a research stay at Georgetown University and the University of California, Berkeley in 1966/67 with the unpublished work The Inner Order of Clubs and Associations his habilitation.

From 1971 he worked as a professor at the University of Frankfurt am Main, from 1972 as an associate professor at the University of Bonn . In 1974/75 he was visiting professor at the University of Lausanne . After all, from 1975 until his retirement in 2001 Nicklisch held the chair for civil law, commercial and economic law and civil procedural law at Heidelberg University . There he was head of the research group technology law from 1980 and head of the research focus technology law since 1984. From 1992 he was also director of the Institute for German and European Technology and Environmental Law at Heidelberg University.
