Fritz Skell

Fritz Skell (born August 1, 1885 in Munich , † March 9, 1961 in Dießen am Ammersee ) was a German draftsman .

Life

Fritz Skell was a member of the Sckell family of painters and gardeners . From 1912 he was a university drawing teacher in Munich, from 1915 drawing teacher at the Centralhospital Petoemboekan on the east coast of Sumatra . From 1932 to 1955 he was professor for natural and strict drawing at the Munich Academy of Applied Arts. After his retirement he often painted at the Chiemsee . He was known for lush depictions of flowers and scientific-anatomical drawings.
