Fritz Teufel (trainer)
Fritz Teufel (born February 6, 1910 , † after 1950) was a German athletics and football coach .
Teufel became the coach of the athletics department at VfB Stuttgart in 1933 . Before the final round of the German soccer championship in 1935 , Teufel also took on the role of soccer coach for the then newly minted Württemberg Gaumeister. Under the new head coach Fritz Teufel, the VfB footballers became German runner-up in this final round for the first time . In 1936 Teufel left VfB Stuttgart after being appointed to the coaching staff of the football department .
In 1939 he possibly conducted a course in this function at Hamburger SV . The HSV - his coach was Hans Lang - was Gaumeister that year and finished fourth in the German championship round.
After the Second World War, Teufel was again responsible as a football coach at VfB and became champions with the Stuttgart team in the first season in the new Oberliga Süd in 1946 and thus also American zone champions . In 1947 he moved to VfR Aalen , for which he was responsible as a football coach until 1950. VfR Frankenthal belonged to Teufel's later coaching stations .
