Ludwig Hrebacka

Ludwig Hrebacka (born August 30, 1900 in Achau or Wilhelmsburg , † September 1, 1966 in St. Pölten ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and stoker. Hrebacka was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1949 to 1964 .

Hrebacka attended elementary school in Achau and Wilhelmsburg and subsequently completed an apprenticeship as a saddler. He was conscripted from 1916 and did his military service in 1918. He then worked as a leather worker and from 1924 as a construction worker. In 1929 he switched to the profession of stoker and boiler attendant in the Wilhelmsburg ceramics factory, where he worked as a works council. Hrebacka was arrested in 1934 after the outbreak of the Austrian Civil War.

Hrebacka was a councilor in Wilhelmsburg from 1947 and held the office of vice mayor between 1952 and 1955. He represented the SPÖ between November 5, 1949 and November 19, 1964 in the Lower Austrian state parliament. Hrebacka died in 1966 as a result of a traffic accident.
