Fritz Werner (Hebrew)

Fritz Werner (born February 6, 1943 in Vienna ) is an Austrian Hebraist and retired university professor at the University of Vienna .

biography

Fritz Werner completed his habilitation in 1981; In 2000 he became professor for Hebrew philology at the University of Vienna . He is co-editor of the magazine עם הספר ('am has-sēp̄er) and the Revue Européenne d'Études Hébraïques .
