Frontada is a Spanish town in the province of Palencia in the autonomous community of Castile and León . The place belonged to Barrio de San Pedro for a long time and was incorporated into Aguilar de Campoo in the 1970s .

Frontada is about six kilometers west of Aguilar de Campoo and is now uninhabited. After the construction of the dam of Aguilar de Campoo in 1963, the remains of the site are temporarily flooded. Only the church, a little further away and higher up, is still preserved today.
