Frostburg State University
The Frostburg State University is an American University in Frostburg that the University System of Maryland belongs.
The college was founded in 1898 under the name State Normal School and originally served for teacher training. In 1935 it was renamed Teachers' College at Frostburg and in 1945 Frostburg State Teachers College . Since 1963 it was called Frostburg State College . Since 1987 it has been called Frostburg State University. At the university mainly educators and business administrators are trained. It awards academic bachelor and master degrees .
