The frustration Dome (English for Frustrationdom ) is a large and jagged ice dome in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It rises 58 km southeast of Mount Henderson .
The ice dome was the site of a tellurometer station that was built in 1967 as part of a campaign by the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . Its participants named it so because a vehicle breakdown here delayed the surveying work until next spring.
