Football Central Asian Cup 2018

The 2018 Central Asian Football Championship (officially: 2018 CAFA Championship ) was scheduled to take place in Tashkent , the capital of Uzbekistan , from October 8 to 16, 2018 as the first tournament to take place . However, during this period there were no games within the framework of the tournament without further justification from the association.

Intended mode

Six teams from Central Asia should play for the title of Central Asian champions. Since all association members were automatically admitted, there was no qualification. The six participating teams should be divided into two groups of three teams each, where the teams should play against each other once. The two group winners and runners-up would have reached the semi-finals, the winners of the semi-finals would have reached the final.
