Fuaʻamotu is an uninhabited island in the Tongan archipelago of Vavaʻu .
geography
Fuaʻamotu is a motu in the southeast of Vavaʻu. It lies between ʻEueiki , Lua Hiapo , Lua a Fuleheu , and Kaihifahifa . To the east is the nearest island in the reef rim Fonuafuu . Fuaʻamotu is very regular oval-egg-shaped with an even reef edge.
climate
The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands in the Vavaʻu group, Fuaʻamotu is occasionally hit by cyclones .
