The fox oak , in the local dialect Vosseik , is a 8.33 meter thick, 25 meter high and approx. 350-425 year old pedunculate oak in Groß Gievitz , a district of the municipality of Peenehagen in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (Germany).

The tree stands in a clearing in the scrub forest east of the old brickworks. In the swampy forest, in which there are many ponds and pools and which is flooded every spring, the fox oak stands a little higher.
