The fox walls are a rock formation in the Mühlviertel nature park in the municipality of Rechberg in the district of Perg . In 1999 they were entered in the Upper Austrian nature protection book as a natural monument.

The fox walls are located north of the center of the municipality of Rechberg in the middle of a larger forest complex consisting mainly of beeches and a few firs and spruces . The rock formation covers a total area of ​​1,500 square meters, with a height of up to 15 meters.

The stacked granite blocks made of Weinsberg granite have a clearly visible vertical and horizontal fracture and give the landscape a special character due to their size and uniqueness. The conspicuous feldspars with an edge length of up to ten centimeters are striking in this type of rock.
