Fulvio Ottaviano

Fulvio Ottaviano (born July 27, 1957 in Rome ) is an Italian screenwriter and film director .

Life

Ottaviano started out as a radio writer, but soon expanded his work to include theater and film. As a screenwriter, he wrote some interesting films for young authors, such as Ricky Tognazzi and Francesco Martinotti , including Abissinia, which was shot in Romagna . He made his debut as a director with an episode for the joint film I tarassacchi in 1990, which was followed six years later by Cresceranno i carciofi a Mimongo , a comedy that was brilliantly staged and played with a feeling for the rhythm of the cinematic language. In 1997 Ottaviano received the David di Donatello for the best first work. In addition to television works, the critically acclaimed Abbiamo solo fatto l'amore and the absurd Una talpa al Bioparco (2004) followed, as well as the animated film Orlando in 2011 and the thriller Mia the following year .
