Fun Radio (also: FUN RADIO ) is a private radio broadcaster from France . The program is broadcast from Paris ( 8th arrondissement ) and specializes in current chart music.

history

Fun Radio was founded on October 2nd, 1985 in the south of France by Jean-Baptiste Kerry, Eric Pechadre and Pierre Lattes. They merged their six local stations from Nouvelle Radio Jeunesse in Nancy , Grenoble , Montpellier , Bordeaux , Carcassonne and Toulouse as well as Chic FM from Nice . This split had been prepared in secret. On the night of October 1st to 2nd, 1985, leaflets were distributed to announce the birth of this new radio station. Didier Sinclair (who worked until 1991), Jean-Luc Reichmann and Julien Courbet were among the first DJs .
