Fundus (medicine)

Fundus ( Latin for "soil" or "ground") is the base or the bottom part of a hollow organ , a channel or a tubular structure in anatomy .

• Fundus reticuli , base of the reticulum
• Fundus sulci reticuli , floor of the pharynx in the reticulum

• Fundus vesicae felleae , base of the gallbladder
• Fundus hypertonicus , chronic vascular changes due to high blood pressure in the back of the eye
