The Fur Seal Creek ( English for Pelzrobbenbach ) is a creek on the island of Heard in the southern Indian Ocean . It flows parallel and southwest of a lateral moraine southeast of the Compton Lagoon to the northwest end of Fairchild Beach , where it flows into the sea.
The mouth of the stream is home to the largest fur seal colony on Heard, which is what gave it its name.
