Furdesanden (Norwegian for sand furrow ) is a moraine in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . In the Orvinfjella it extends in north-south orientation over a length of 28 km along the west side of the Conrad Mountains .
Aerial photos were taken during the German Antarctic Expedition in 1938/39 under the direction of Alfred Ritscher . Norwegian cartographers, who also named them descriptively, mapped them on the basis of aerial photographs and measurements of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
