Gökhan Yılmaz (born January 19, 1991 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player.

Career

Yılmaz was born in the Fatih district of Istanbul and later moved with his family to the Turkish Mediterranean coast. Here he began with club football in the youth department of Kemerspor and later went through the youth department of Medical Park Antalyaspor . In 2010 he signed his first professional contract with fourth division club Kepez Belediyespor . After a year for the club, he returned to Antalyaspor, but was loaned to Manavgat Evrensekispor for the coming season .

For the 2012/13 season Yılmaz moved to the fourth division Altınordu Izmir . At this club, he managed to jump into the starting lineup right away. At the end of the season he was fourth division champion with his team and rose to the TFF 2nd Lig . Moved up to the 2nd division, Yılmaz kept his regular place and came to 32 missions by the end of the season. His team also finished this league as champions and rose again to the TFF 1st Lig after 24 years of abstinence .

In the spring of 2016, he and his teammate Halil İbrahim Tuna were signed by his old club Antalyaspor . For the 2016/17 season he was loaned to the second division club Giresunspor . Already for the next winter break he returned to Antalyaspor and was immediately given to the second division side Bandırmaspor .
