Göran Lindblad (politician)
Lars Göran Axel Lindblad (* 1950 ) is a Swedish conservative politician ( Moderata samlingspartiet ). He has been a member of the Swedish Parliament since 1997 .
Life
Lindblad completed a dental degree. In 1993 he became a deputy member ( Ersättare ) of the Reichstag.
He is a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee and a deputy member of the Swedish delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe .
Lindblad initiated Council of Europe Resolution 1481 (2006) on the necessity of international condemnation of crimes committed by totalitarian communist regimes .
