Gülbadam Babamyratowa

Gulbadam Babamuratova (* 24. August 1991 in Turkmenabat ; Russian variant of the name Гульбадам Бабамуратова Gulbadam Babamuratowa even Babamuratova ) is a Turkmen martial artist, both as a judoka and in Sambo and Belt Wrestling celebrated international success.

biography

After her victory at the European Judo Cup in Istanbul in July 2012, Gülbadam Babamyratowa became world champion in sambo in the weight class up to 52 kg in October 2012. In December 2012, he won the Kazan Student Sambo World Cup.

In 2013, when belt rings were first part of the Summer Universiade program , Babamyratova won belt rings in the weight class up to 52 kg, one of a total of two gold medals for the Turkmen team and also bronze in the same weight class in sambo. At the Asian Games in 2014 , she was the most successful female athlete in her country as a silver medalist in the judo competition in the weight class up to 52 kg. At the Asian Beach Games 2014 she won Turkmenistan's only gold medal in beach sambo and silver in the mixed team competition. In 2016, she took part in judo at the Summer Olympics , but failed in round 1.

Babamyratowa is a student at the Türkmenistanyň milli sport we syýahatçylyk instituty (National Institute for Sport and Tourism of Turkmenistan). She is trained by Çemengül Geldybaýewa and Dörtguly Tejenow.
