Günter Fichtner

Günter Fichtner (born June 21, 1935 in Roth ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Fichtner attended elementary school and high school. This was followed by an internship at Leonische Drahtwerke Roth and a degree in architecture at the Polytechnic in Munich . At the end of 1959 he opened his own architecture office. For many years he was an honorary judge at the Ansbach Administrative Court .

In 1972 Fichtner became a district councilor in the district council of Roth and district chairman of the SPD district association Roth. In 1976 he became a member of the state executive committee of the Bavarian SPD and elected state chairman of the self-employed working group in the SPD Bavaria. From 1982 to 1990 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
