Günter Juergens

Günter Jürgens (born April 16, 1928 in Düsseldorf ) is a German administrative lawyer.

Career

Jürgens studied law at the University of Cologne . In 1952 he passed the first state law examination and in 1956 the second. In 1954 he received his doctorate with the thesis The bank secret and its development vis-à-vis the tax authorities .

He was head of the Federal Finance Academy in Siegburg and from March 20, 1986 until his retirement in 1993 he was chief finance president in Cologne.

Since 1949 he has been a member of the Catholic student union AV Rheinstein zu Cologne.
