Günter Liesegang

Dietfried Günter Liesegang (* 1942 ) is a professor emeritus for business administration at the Alfred Weber Institute of the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg .

Life

Liesegang studied mathematics and physics in Cologne and Paris . He then held a chair for business administration in Heidelberg. There he was the founder and director of the Institute for Environmental Economic Analyzes (IUWA). He was also the secretary of the ecologically-oriented business journal UmweltWirtschaftsForum ( Springer-Verlag ). His main research interests were environmentally-oriented corporate management, production management, operations research and strategic corporate planning. In 2007 he retired .
