Günter Mäder (born December 25, 1938 in Stuttgart ; † March 7, 2018 in Herrenberg ) was a German football player .

Career

Günter Mäder played in the youth of the Stuttgarter Kickers , there he made the jump to the second team of the Kickers , where he played for several years. In 1957 he was used eight times in the Oberliga Süd with the first team.

Personal

Mäder passed a master's examination in the butcher's trade and then studied English and history as a teacher at the Ludwigsburg University of Education and the Schwäbisch Gmünd University of Education . Born in Stuttgart, from 1973 he worked as a teacher at the Jerg-Ratgeb-Schule in Herrenberg for 30 years. From 1985 he also worked as the deputy headmaster until he retired. Mäder was married and the father of two sons.
