Günter Malcher

Günter Malcher (born March 16, 1934 in Saxony ) is a German former pole vaulter . As part of the all-German team, he took part in the 1960 Olympic Games in Rome , where he came in 5th. Between 1957 and 1964 he achieved medal ranks seven times at national level, but was never able to achieve the GDR championship title.
