Günter Rösch

Günter Rösch (born September 18, 1943 in Rivenich ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

Rösch completed an apprenticeship as a restaurant specialist and attended a state hotel management school. From 1972 he worked at the Trier employment office and in 1987 he became head of the Bernkastel-Kues employment office . Rösch is married and has one child.

politics

Rösch was elected chairman of the SPD parliamentary group in the district council of the Bernkastel-Wittlich district. In addition, he was chairman of the SPD sub-district Bernkastel-Wittlich. In 1987 he was elected as a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament, to which he had four legislative terms until 2006. In the state parliament he was deputy chairman of the committee for labor, social affairs, family and health and social policy spokesman for the SPD faction.
