Günter Schlueterbusch

Günter Schlüterbusch (born April 10, 1943 in Sulingen ; † January 2, 2004 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ). From 1994 to 2004 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

Schlüterbusch was a member of the Sulingen City Council and the District Council from 1972 to 2001. From 1976 to 1986 he was deputy mayor and from 1991 to 2001 mayor of the city of Sulingen. Because of his many services to the city of Sulingen, he was appointed honorary mayor of the city in 2001.

In 1997 he received the honorary certificate from the Lower Saxony Association of Cities for 25 years of commitment to local politics.

Schlüterbusch was elected to the Lower Saxony state parliament in 1994, to which he belonged until his death. He worked in the Presidium, as well as in the Legal and Constitutional Committee and the Health and Social Committee. His successor in parliament was Susanne Grote .
