Susanne Grote

Susanne Grote (born May 21, 1969 in Neustadt am Rübenberge ) is a German politician. From 2004 to 2008 she was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

education and profession

After graduating from high school in 1988, Grote studied economics and social economy in Göttingen and Kiel. In 1993 she broke off her studies and trained as a qualified administrator. From 1997 until her election to the state parliament she worked for the city of Seelze . From 1997 to 2000, she did an evening course to obtain a degree in business administration.

politics

Grote has been a member of the Neustadt am Rübenberge council for the SPD since 2001 and has been the deputy mayor there since March 2006. In 2004 she replaced the late Günter Schlüterbusch in the Lower Saxony state parliament, to which she was a member until 2008. In the 2008 state elections, she ran as a direct candidate in the Neustadt / Wunstorf constituency .
