Ulla Groskurt (born March 27, 1947 in Weeze ) is a German politician and member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

education and profession

After attending school, Groskurt trained in a law firm. From 1973 until her election to the state parliament, she worked in the public service, first at the district military replacement office, then with the city of Osnabrück . She passed a trainer examination and was responsible for the management and advanced training of the Central Writing Service. In addition, she was a lecturer for IT applications at the Volkshochschule Osnabrück.

Groskurt has been a member of the SPD since 1992 . She has been a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament since 2001. There she is spokeswoman for the SPD parliamentary group for women's and family policy. She is also a member of ver.di and the Arbeiterwohlfahrt . She is a member of the state board of the SPD working group of social democratic women (ASF) in Lower Saxony.
