Günther Detert

Günther Detert (born January 6, 1929 in Driesen ; † August 10, 2001 ) was a German CDU politician .

education and profession

Günther Detert graduated from secondary school in 1946 with secondary school leaving certificate. He then did an administrative apprenticeship, which he finished with the administrative examination in 1948. Then he attended the administration and savings bank school and passed the first and second administrative exams. From 1945 to 1951, his training and activity extended to the Schleswig District Craftsmen's Association. In 1951 he worked for the Wesel District Craftsmen's Association, most recently as managing director. From 1975 he was put into temporary retirement in accordance with the State Legal Status Act, and from 1980 he resigned from office according to § 32 AbgG NW.

politics

Günther Detert had been a member of the CDU since 1964. He was a member of the city council of the CDU Wesel from 1968. From 1970 to 1975 he was a member of the district committee of the CDU Rees and member of the Rees district council from 1964 to 1969. Detert became a member of the council of the city of Wesel in 1969 and from 1969 to 1979 he acted as Mayor.

Günther Detert was a member of the 8th and 9th state parliaments of North Rhine-Westphalia from May 28, 1975 to May 29, 1985 for constituency 080 Rees and constituency 063 Wesel II.
