Günther Kandler

Günther Kandler (* 1914 in Saint Petersburg ; † 1984 ) was a German linguist and university professor. In 1957 he became head of the research center for public speaking. d. Sprachwiss., Univ-Inst. Bonn. From 1955 he was editor of the magazine Sprachforum. Journal of Applied Linguistics.

In 1971 he became a full professor at the Rhineland University of Education . After their integration, he taught at the University of Bonn.

His grave is in the Bad Godesberg Central Cemetery .
