Friedrich Lichtenberg

Friedrich Ludwig Wilhelm Christian Lichtenberg (born January 23, 1801 in Darmstadt ; † January 1, 1871 in Lichtental ) was a Hessian lawyer and politician and a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Life

Friedrich Lichtenberg was the son of pastor Friedrich Ludwig Lichtenberg (1770–1846) and his wife Sybylla Friederike, née Malcomesius (1779–1851). Lichtenberg, who was Protestant, married on June 1, 1826, first marriage to Katharina Louise, nee Malcomesius (1805-1832). On December 2, 1844, he married Marie Antonie nee Damance (1806–1898) in Pfungstadt.

From 1820 Lichtenberg studied law at the universities of Giessen and Heidelberg. In 1926 he became court attorney at the court in Darmstadt . In 1871 he was retired.

From 1844 to 1847 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 5 / Gernsheim .
