Gustav Adolf Dehlinger (born June 15, 1860 in Mergentheim , † November 19, 1940 in Wolfskehlen ) was a Hessian politician ( HBB , DVP ) and a former member of the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

Life

Gustav Adolf Dehlinger was the son of the Chief Financial Inspector August Wilhelm Dehlinger and his wife Margaretha Elisabethe Barbara, née Gerner. Gustav Adolf Dehlinger was a Protestant and married to Martin, who was born in Clara. His son Paul Dehlinger later became politically active for the CDU .

Gustav Adolf Dehlinger attended the wine school in Weinsberg and studied in Halle , Heidelberg and Tübingen as well as at the Hohenheim Agricultural University . From 1887 he managed Gut Weilerhof, where he introduced green manure.

From 1906 to 1925 he was a member of the Chamber of Agriculture and chairman of the soil culture commission. In 1893 he was one of the founders of the farmers' union. He worked as a member of the Hessian Protestant church parliament.

In 1918 Gustav Adolf Dehlinger was a member of the 2nd Chamber of the Land estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse (for the constituency of Starkenburg 12 / Gernsheim). He was then a member of the Landtag of the People's State of Hesse from 1919 to 1927 . From 1919 to 1925 he was also a member of the district council of the Groß-Gerau district and the provincial assembly.
