Philipp Hax

Johann Philipp Hax (born January 3, 1772 in Darmstadt ; † June 29, 1831 there ) was a Hessian innkeeper and politician and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Philipp Hax was the son of the master butcher and innkeeper "Zum Löwen" Johann Philipp Hax and his wife Elisabeth Catharina. Hax, who was a Protestant, was the innkeeper "Zum Löwen" in Darmstadt and married Maria Katharina nee Dickel there on December 6, 1795.

From 1820 to 1824 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 5 / Pfungstadt .
