Günther Nemec

Günther Nemec (* 1921 ; † 2010 ) was a German telescope designer and photographer. The man from Munich is counted among the pioneers of planetary photography.

Nemec was deaf and devoted to astronomy . From 1962 to 1972 he took pictures of the sun , moon and planets with his 120 mm and 200 mm folding refractors . He also took photos with a prominent telescope that he designed and built himself .

Later, Nemec drew attention to itself with horror and space travel amateur films and also appeared on television with his film techniques.
