After a two-year apprenticeship as a watchmaker , Neumann took a position as a production assistant in Hamburg. After two years as a production assistant and later camera assistant, he learned the profession of cameraman. He then worked at the Leitz Optical Works in Wetzlar and in the sound and lighting technology of the Wiesbaden State Theater . Let's go ... a show with Blacky Fuchsberger was his new entry into a lighting company for film and television productions. Neumann then specialized in advertising and 35mm film. Over the years he has produced more than 1200 commercials.
In 1994 he founded the company Interspot TV and then the Filmhaus Wiesbaden OhG, which in 2004 became the new Filmhaus Wiesbaden Film und TV Produktion . Tourism magazines, health magazines, adventure reports, documentaries, industrial films and reports lined his way and brought him to around 120 countries around the world. In his vocation as a cameraman, he produced programs such as ( Galileo , Adventure Life , Contemporary History and many more). Neumann, who has covered all areas of television, began focusing in 2005 on feature films and series as Director of Photography (DOP) for cinema and television. Even today it is the different production areas that shape his spectrum and his experiences.
