Günther Trommer

Günther Trommer (born January 28, 1918 in Waldkirchen ; † April 11, 1990 ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and high school with the Abitur he completed the service in the Reich Labor Service and then military service . After being imprisoned and wounded, Trommer studied to become a teacher and then worked in school.

He had been a member of the SPD since 1946 and was represented in various party bodies.

MP

From July 21, 1962 to July 23, 1966, Trommer was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in constituency 125 Altena-Land-Ost.

Trommer was in 1951 a member of the city council of the city Werdohl and 1956-1961 Mayor . In 1956 he was a member of the district council of the Altena district .
