The magazine GI Geldinstitute ( own spelling gi GELDINSTITUTE ) is a bimonthly specialist publication that reports on IT, organization and communication in the banking and credit sector.

The aim of the magazine is to take up the problems of IT decision-makers in financial institutions, to offer solutions and thus to serve as a “bridge from manufacturer to user”. This is implemented objectively with reports, interviews and case studies as well as analyzes and opinions. In terms of content it is u. a. banking IT as well as systems and resources for modern planning, setting up and organizing financial institutions.

Until the fourth quarter of 2013, the magazine was part of the portfolio of the Holzmann Medien publishing group based in Bad Wörishofen . It was sold to the Munich-based specialist publisher AV-News together with its sister magazine VB Versicherungsbetriebe .
