Work
The asphalt or concrete pavement of a street is removed by cold milling . The thickness of the cut is variable. The "Road Twister" vertical milling machine developed by GMS enables edgeless milling work to be carried out, e.g. B. when milling off old road markings . A differently chiseled milling disc turns the Twister into a manhole cover milling machine that can remove the covering around manhole covers . In addition, concrete roadway demolition, roadway cold recycling, etc. are offered.
Cold milling has now become the common way of renovating a roadway, as it can be carried out much faster and more energy-efficiently than hot milling .

Road Twister
One of GMS's own developments is the so-called Road Twister , a special milling machine with milling drums attached horizontally to the road, which enables edgeless fine milling. This machine can be used especially for demarcation work, to increase grip and to remove accident sites on road surfaces that are too smooth
