Surname

The meaning of the band name is a mystery. However, there is a popular theory among Japanese fans: If you enter the digits 55 71 88 (5 = go) into a Japanese cell phone or pager, you get the word の ま ♥ (NO MA ♥). Noma is a man who worked in the LIVE HOUSE / SR HALL in Kagoshima, where GO! GO! 7188 used to play. On October 1, 2006, bassist Akiko Hamada married and took the surname Noma.
