Gedimino 9

GO9 (formerly Gedimino 9 ) is a commercial center established in 2007 on Gediminas Prospect in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius .

history

In 1893 the building was built according to the project of Alexey Polotsov . In the 20th century there was the city's first nightclub , “Palas de Dance”. The editorial and printing works of " Kurjer Wilenski " were also located here. From 1983 the seat of the Vilnius City Council was here . From 2005 to 2007 the building was restored according to the project of architects M. Wilson , Irma Kašėtaitė and Antanas Gvildys and became "Gedimino 9". In 2014 it became “GO9”.
