Commercial Legal Protection and Copyright (GRUR) is a legal journal of the German Association for Commercial Legal Protection and Copyright , which has been published since 1891 (until 1895 under the title "Journal for Commercial Legal Protection").

Since 1953 GRUR International has been published as combination products , until 1967 under the title GRUR Ausländischer Teil , and since 2001 the GRUR jurisprudence report GRUR-RR . Since November 2009, the magazine is published twice a month in the GRUR family GRUR practice in the Intellectual Property and Competition Law (GRUR-Prax) that the former only through the database Beck-Online available Fachdienst Intellectual Property (FD-ECSRS) has replaced. GRUR-Prax initially appears in digital form via this database and then subsequently and with identical text as a print version.

The journals contain academic articles and court decisions on the subjects of industrial property rights , copyright and competition law . They are among the leading journals in their field. Because of the green cover, GRUR is also referred to as the “Green Journal” and the legal area it deals with as the “Green Area”. This makes their scientific and practical importance particularly clear.

The GRUR editions can be downloaded for a fee on the Internet, from issue 1/1948 onwards at Beck-Online . Access to juris is no longer possible.
