Map with all coordinates: The GR 9 ( French Grande Randonnée 9 ) is a French long-distance hiking trail of the Fédération française de la randonnée pédestre between Saint-Amour and Port Grimaud .
The hiking trail begins in the French Jura , heads east close to the Swiss border, then south across Savoy and the French Alps . The route continues over the eastern part of Provence ( Département Vaucluse ) to the Côte d'Azur .
