Gabriel Performance Products is an American chemical company. The company produces epoxy hardeners , phenoxy resins and lubricants based on chlorotrifluoroethene (CTFE). It is also active in the field of contract manufacturing.

The Ashtabula site was founded in 1955 by Archer Daniels Midland and bought by Diamond Shamrock in 1962 . Diamond Shamrock was acquired by OxyChem in 1986 , which sold the plant to Gabriel Performance Products in 2001. In 2009 the company was taken over by the private equity company Edgewater Capital , which sold it to the Audax Group in 2014 .

In 2012, Gabriel acquired the mercaptan crosslinker ( Capcure ) business from BASF (formerly Cognis ). The business with crosslinkers for polyamides and InChem's phenoxy resin business followed in 2015 .
