Gabriele Bensberg

Gabriele Bensberg (* 1953 in Siegen ) is a German Germanist, psychologist and author of scientific and fictional works.

Life

Bensberg graduated from Abitur in 1973 in Stift Keppel and completed her studies in German and pedagogy at the University of Heidelberg with the state examination in 1979 . She did her PhD in 1999 on the Laxdæla saga . In addition to working as a research assistant at the German Department of Heidelberg University, she studied psychology in a second degree until 1988 . She worked as a qualified psychologist at the Studierendenwerk Mannheim and headed the psychological counseling center for students until 2017.
